What Climbing Means to Me: I’ve dedicated the decades of my life to climbing and it has captured my mind and heart in so many ways. The climbing community is my global family. The cliffs, crags, boulders, and climbing gyms feel like home.

Best Advice I’ve Ever Received: Work hard, be honest, and treat others with respect.

What Climbing Means to Me: I've been climbing since 2011 and routesetting since 2012. Since then I've created lifelong connections with people all over, and that's what climbing/routesetting is to me! It's connecting with people through a shared passion and expressing oneself through movement....and doing stuff that makes you feel cool.

Best Advice I’ve Ever Received: Follow your passion(s) and everything else will fall into place.

My Favorite Place to Climb: Tough! I'd say either Squamish, BC or Bishop, CA.

My Favorite Place to Climb: I really enjoyed the Happy Boulders in Bishop! It’s not hard to come by stunning views there, but I particularly appreciated being able to try out some of the taller boulders and feeling a new type of discomfort. Positively thrilling.

What Climbing Means to Me: Climbing is my favorite hobby ever! Along with improving my physical health and strength, going climbing always helps me relax mentally as well.

Best Advice I’ve Ever Received: My granddad would always say, “your attitude determines your altitude.”

My Most Memorable Moment at TSD:‍ ‍My most memorable moment at TSD would have to be my interview. I immediately felt welcomed and comfortable—not how interviews usually feel! It was really meaningful to connect with others over the importance and unique sense of community that climbing creates.

What Climbing Means to Me:‍ ‍I’ve been climbing on and off since I was 9 or 10 years old. It served as my community then, and continues to a decade later. Climbing has been an integral part of my life—I’ve met some of my closest friends through the sport, and it has continually pushed me to challenge myself in ways I otherwise wouldn’t have.

Best Advice I’ve Ever Received:‍ ‍“To be liked by everyone is to be known by nobody.”

It’s a way to integrate play into my daily life while also strengthening my body and mind. I find that it boosts not only my self-esteem but also my creativity which then greatly aids me in other facets of my life!

My Most Memorable Moment at TSD: The first thing that popped into my head was our General Manager, Jonathan, doing his best diva walk down the hallway during our training. It was a beautiful moment.

What Climbing Means to Me: Climbing to me is an artform where walls become canvases for creative movement. It has also taught me patience, resilience, and a belief in myself.

Best Advice I’ve Ever Received: It is not that you haven't reached your goals, it's that you keep pushing them.
