Birthday Parties

We have a dedicated area for youth climbers or use of the entire gym for more ambitious youth climbers. Our enthusiastic staff will make sure your child has the best birthday party ever! 

Most weekends, we have two slots for birthday parties for youth climbers and their friends!

for 5-16 Youth Participants due at time of registration.
Participants exceeding the number of allowable guests will incur a $50/climber fee.

*Includes rental shoes for Youth Participants. Does not include Day Passes or shoe rentals for Adults who may want to climb.

Here’s what you get:

• 2 hours of climbing time (welcome, rules and safety, basic climbing tips, fun climbing games, free climbing) guided by one or two of our instructors

• 30 minutes of celebration time (food, song, presents, etc.)

• Reserved Kid’s Area for activities and personal effects

• Sink for easy access to handwashing and clean-up

• One TSD t-shirt for the birthday climber (additional t-shirts available for purchase)

Here’s what we don’t provide:

• Plates, napkins, cups, or eating utensils

• Party accessories 

• Food or beverage (although snacks and beverages are available for purchase at the Cafe)

• Refrigerator or freezer

IMPORTANT: WAIVERS REQUIRED

EVERYONE (NON-CLIMBERS INCLUDED) MUST SIGN A WAIVER AHEAD OF TIME AND PROVIDE ID UPON ARRIVAL.

Climbing is fun but can be dangerous, so we need your help to ensure your guests have a safe and fun experience. Hosts are asked to read all posted general gym rules and youth-specific rules prior to arrival and share this page with guests!

• Please note that in order to enter the facility (non-climbers included), we require everyone to review our Orientation Video and sign the accompanying Waiver.

• ADULTS will need to present a government-issued photo ID, displaying their Photo, Name, and Date of Birth.

• MINORS will need a Legal Parent or Court-Appointed Guardian to sign the waiver AND verify it in-person or provide a copy of their driver's license in their absence. Please note: Stepparents, nannies, babysitters, grandparents, siblings, and other non-legal guardians, are not considered Legal Parents or Guardians in the absence of a legal declaration of guardianship.

Booking Information

1. Birthday parties must be booked and paid in full ONLINE at least 2 weeks in advance and can be reserved up to 90 days in advance. Same-day registration and upgrades are not available, so please invite guests accordingly. Participants exceeding the number of allowable guests will incur a $50/climber fee. Events with fewer than expected participants are nonrefundable and cannot be downgraded.

2. There is a $50 cancellation or rescheduling fee if requested 10 days or more prior to the event. Cancellations less than 10 days prior to the event are nonrefundable.

3. When the event is concluded, participants must leave the facility or purchase admission to remain in the gym (e.g., day pass, membership).
